Soul Yoga Collection

The Soul Yoga collection was developed as part of an academic project with the intention of capturing the deeper essence of yoga—not just as a physical practice, but as a holistic lifestyle. Inspired by the connection between body, mind, and spirit, the concept aimed to translate the sensations of balance, freedom, and inner peace into clothing designed for both movement and everyday life.

The creative direction for this collection drew from the freshness of tropical fruits and the calm of natural surroundings, resulting in a vibrant, comfortable, and functional line.

My role in this project included developing the concept, building the brand identity, curating the color palette, selecting materials, and designing the full line.

One of the biggest challenges I faced was ensuring technical functionality without losing the emotional storytelling behind the concept. Translating abstract feelings like peace, well-being, and presence into garments required a thoughtful and layered approach—balancing creativity with practicality.

Throughout this process, I learned how to deepen my design thinking, not just around aesthetics, but around user experience. It taught me how to design with empathy—imagining the person wearing each piece not only for yoga but in their daily life. It also challenged me to think like a brand builder, considering market fit, material sourcing, and product positioning from start to finish.

In the end, Soul Yoga became more than a school project—it became a reflection of my belief that fashion can support wellness, encourage mindful living, and bring intention into even the smallest movements of our day.

Challenges/ Learned

The color palette was soft and uplifting, the silhouettes fluid and breathable, and the materials carefully selected to support active practice—such as Repreve®, Lycra® Sport, and bamboo viscose. Every design choice was made to enhance performance while evoking lightness and mindfulness.
